Stately Homes By·The·Sea Designer Show House
Holly Hill near Red Bank, NJ
May 3 – June 12, 2011
Holly Hill, a historic country estate nestled in one of the most beautiful water view locations in New Jersey, is the setting for the third edition of Stately Homes by-the-Sea. Among the region's most anticipated designer Show House events, Stately Homes by-the-Sea will benefit the Visiting Nurse Association of Central Jersey.
More than 35 of the region's top interior designers, decorators and landscape artists will transform this pre-war treasure, creating a home that reflects the history and bucolic setting of the estate while incorporating the contemporary elements of elegant 21st century living.
Along with touring Holly Hill, including the pool house and extensive gardens, guests can round out their day with lunch at the gourmet cafe and shopping at the Show House designer boutique. Visitors can also continue on to explore the scenic shore area of Monmouth County.
Stately Homes by-the-Sea debuted in 2007 with the transformation of the former Metcalf estate into Scothigh Farms and continued in 2009 at the Harrie T. Lindeberg designed Sheep’s Run. The Show House quickly gained popularity, attracting over 13,000 attendees to each home and becoming a coveted showcase for those in the design world.
The proceeds from Stately Homes by-the-Sea Show House Events are used to benefit VNACJ home care, hospice and community-based programs and services.
