About Daniel Mullay Interior Design and Decoration:

As sole proprietor of Daniel Mullay Interior Design I am able to offer a host of personalized services to fit the taste and budget of every client. Working with a wide range of vendors, sources and resources enables me to take on a variety of design and decorating projects, large and small; custom tailoring each one to satisfy the needs and desires of the client.

My hands on business and organizational skills allow me to keep the project flowing from start to finish, making the decorating process effortless and enjoyable for the client.

My biography includes a Master's Degree, a background in graphic design, and early on in my 35 year career, 10 years experience as Interior Design Director for Bloomingdales. A number of hardcover and periodical publications, 12 Designer Show House rooms, a roster of clients in the Mid-West and East Coast reflect a range of design styles from traditional to contemporary. I enjoy incorporating existing and found furniture, accessories, antiques and art work with new and custom pieces, making the client feel comfortable and at ease at home.

And although a beautiful room is the goal, good design must also be durable and practical. Family, friends, children and pets are what makes a home. I believe the key to my success is to be considerate of the client's budget, lifestyle, and how the space is being used, so that the finished room reflects comfort, quality and function, as well as classic taste, style and sophistication.
